Fairness to animals:

The first step to protecting animals is learning about how interesting and important they are!

Then, we can make our home wildlife-friendly: we can reduce our water-consumption in our homes and gardens, so that animals that live in or near water would have a better chance of survival.

We also can minimize the use of pesticides. They may keep yards looking nice, but they're in fact harmful substance that affect wildlife on many levels. Many animals live in developed areas and this means they have to navigate a land-scape full of human made dangers. So slow down when you're driving or use public transport. Keep an eye on for wildlife all the time.

We can do a lot to save wildlife: we can recycle many materials and buy sustainable products, but we should never buy products made from threatened or endangered species = bedrohte oder gefährdete Arten or we can visit a national wildlife refuge, park or other open space to see how animals live in their natrual surrounding =Umgebung. Protect the wildlife living space, that's very important and it's a small thing for you but a big one for them!
